How TMJ Disorder Is Diagnosed

After having the patient describe their symptoms, Dr. Brunner will systematically examine the TMJ using a wide variety of methods. These can include manually manipulating the joint, taking X-rays, performing joint vibration analysis, and taking a CBCT scan so he can fully understand a patient’s situation and anatomy before making any recommendations. Once he determines the source of the problem, he can then work with a patient to help them find the most direct solution.
